Since it's 'surface' density, it's points per m2. And we use the number of points divided by the surface of the disc (corresponding to the radius you've set). That's what you where looking for I believe?

There are different ways, but the simplest is the 'Edit > Translate/Rotate' tool (https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... ation_Tool)

Can you test the latest 2.14.alpha version?

I've updated it so that the image camera and pose information are always stored and transmitted to the subsets of points created during subsampling for instance.

Can you confirm that it works with other applications?

Ah, I believe this has just been fixed in version 2.14.alpha (or at least something very similar).

Can you try with this version and report back to us if you encounter the issue again?
