Re: creating DTM from TLS pointcloud with "minimum height" function
Have you tried qCSF by the way? http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... F_(plugin)

This will be the case for interpolated points however...

Re: interpolate on raster causes crash
Okay it's due to the 'resample input cloud' option (do you really need it by the way?)
I'll fix this asap (meanwhile you can try without this option if it works with you).

Re: interpolate on raster causes crash
It works on my side.
Can you provide me with more info? Maybe a screen capture of the Raserize dialog? (so that I can see all the parameters).
And even better, if you can provide me with the dataset? (admin [at] cloudcompare.org)

Re: Soft Transparency
As usual, actually reaching the state of what is displayed in these scientific articles is much harder that one would expect... You have to compute specific scalar fields and then implement a 3 pass rendering pipeline :| Unless they provide some code it would be quite hard to actually integrate that...

Re: How to separate e57 files
You probably need to specify the complete path to the file: e.g. "C:/XXX/YYY/ZZZ/Chathamint.e57"

Re: viewport generation for animation plugin
How, I totally missed that message, sorry!
For the records, you can control that with the "perspective zooming speed" parameter in the "Display options" dialog ("Other Options" tab).

Re: Segmention of point cloud with 3d Clipping box, command line
See the -CROP option of the command line: http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... _line_mode
And you also have the more evolved -CROSS_SECTION option (if you want to extract multiple sections / boxes at a time)

Nope. Appart if you hack the code of course ;)
