PTX import - Normals?
Hey Daniel,
for some reason I don't get the dialog if I would like to compute normals when importing ptx files.
It's quite useful when importing a large number of single files.
Is this intentional after adding the new normal computation dialog?
Cheers.

2.6.2 Bug when saving/ loading large .bin files
Hey Daniel, when saving larger .bin files (>300m points) with 2.6.2., the file crashes CC when I try to reopen it. Opening the .bin file with earlier versions is also not possible, I get the "file corrupted" or something like that. The same dataset can be saved and reopened without a probl...

Re: Quadro vs Geforce performance of Cloudcompare ?
Dimitri, I'll try to take a look at that tonight. Though the perfomance probably is more limited through the lower clock frequency. Regarding SLI: If I'm informed correctly this will only increase perfomance if the application has a profil for SLI. Not every software automatically uses both gpus for...

Re: Quadro vs Geforce performance of Cloudcompare ?
Dear Dimitri, i've faced the same question whether a Quadro offers substantial benefits over the Geforce cards. Short answer: It depends alot on your application and your budget. Some benefits of the Quadro cards, which were particullary interesting for me, is the support of 10bit displays (for colo...

Save dialog doesn't show up
Hi Daniel, when having multiple pointclouds (total of about 400 million points) in the DB Tree I suddenly can't get the Save dialog to appear. For example, when trying to save the pointclouds into single bin files, the first three or so work fine, then the dialog becomes buggy (missing file name dia...

Re: DXF problems in AUTOCAD
Hi Lucas, i'm not quite sure that I really understood your problem, but so fas I can't reproduce the errors you describe (AutoCAD 2011). If you want to join segments of the extracted polylines with newly drawn lines you have to make sure to use the same type of lines: CC exports the polyline as a &q...

[FIXED] Wiki-Link
Hey Daniel,
just a heads up: The link to the wiki found here: http://www.danielgm.net/cc/ seems to be outdated.
Cheers.
