Re: Split cloud (integer values) class names
Wow... no it's not possible. And even by tweaking the code it wouldn't be that simple...

Re: Freeze Transformation for Save
Which version are you using? In older versions, the 'sensor' part of the PCD file was ignored (i.e., when the entity was transformed, the sensor was not updated). Now in the latest 2.13.x versions, it is correctly updated. So either you need to upgrade CloudCompare, or if it's the latest version, th...

That's weird... Have you tried a clean uninstall/reinstall process?

Re: Estimating Volumes
Not sure to understand, as this tool is meant to compute the volume between 2 different 'states' of the stockpile. If your 4 scans are representing the same epoch, then you can simply merge them (Edit > Merge) and then use a constant altitude in the 2.5D calculation tool. Else, I'm not sure to under...

Weird...
Does it happen with a specific mesh?
And also when you hide the to-be-aligned entity?

Re: Volume from point
Than you could try to mesh it (probably with Delaunay 2.5D) and if it looks viable, then sample a lot of points over this mesh (with Edit > Mesh > Sample points).

Re: Volume from point
The only tool to compute volume from a point cloud is the '2.5D Volume computation' tool (https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... .5D_Volume)
But it's working under quite specific conditions, and you'll need a very dense point cloud (which doesn't seem to be the case here?)
