Re: Compass Tool Won't Create Measurements
So I've not been able to reproduce your issue with version 2.13. If I click a point cloud, then I can see a 'plane' object created, both in the 3D view and the DB tree. If I click another entity, I dont' see anything created. Can you maybe share a little bit more information? (screenshot, or even be...

Re: Linux: can't read Las files due to extended fields?
Can you try maybe with the 2.13 version that just came out? It doesn't rely on PDAL anymore (otherwise I believe the answer to your question is 'no' ;)

Re: create digital elevation models
So the easiest way would probably to use the 'Rasterize' tool, keeping the highest altitude in each cell (see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... /Rasterize).

Re: Cloud and plane intersections
Hum, I'm not sure to see how M3C2 could have helped? (what is the other cloud you would use to compute the distances in this case?). Or wouldn't it be simpler to directly export the X and Y coordinates as scalar field if you want to use a SF to segment some points maybe? I also see that you seem to ...

Re: Extract Connected Components in command line
Hum, I guess it would be better/simpler if we fix the issue by appending the cloud name to the output filename for each component?

Re: cannot open CC, not supported on this Mac (Ventura)
Ok, so the only 2.13 version for macOS is built for arm processors (while you have an Intel one).
The latest Intel version was the 2.12.3: https://www.cloudcompare.org/release/Cl ... x86_64.dmg

I've asked the only macOS expert we have in the team (Paul), I'm waiting for his answer.

Re: problème d'affichage nouvelle version CC
