Indded, I think someone else already reported to me such an issue.

The problem is that I haven't managed to reproduce it yet... Is it a version you have compiled yourslef?

P.S. : the DBusMenuExporterPrivate warning is "normal" and should not be related to this issue (I mean it's always displayed on Ubuntu at least, it must be a Qt issue, but it has no consequences in general).

Then we need someone with a compiled version (and the same issue) in order to do some debug...

Have you tried to wait for a long time? e.g. 2 or 3 minutes?

I tested on ubuntu by launching and stopping CC several times, and I realize that sometimes (not always) it takes a much longer time to start and release the CPU (I think it's due to the splash screen).

Well it could still be the same problem... But to test my modifications you would have to compile the last version on the github repo... or kindly ask Romain to create a new package ;)

Even with the 2.5.6 beta version on Romain's launchpad? (https://launchpad.net/~romain-janvier/+ ... oudcompare)
