Applying unique SF to individual scans

Post by framed »

I've got 100+ scans that I want to be able to differentiate between after merging them. Is there a way to quickly apply a unique SF to each scan without having to individual apply a Constant SF to each one? Can this be done from the Command Line? If not, having "Add Constant SF" as part of the Command Line tools would do it, or having it as an option in the Merge tool.

That's actually a good idea! I'll see what I can do.

Okay, that's now available in the latest online beta version. Simply merge the clouds, and CC will ask if you want to add a scalar field with the original cloud index for each point.

Hi Daniel, this is working great in the GUI. However, it would be great if it also could be added as an optional setting to -MERGE_CLOUDS in command line mode.
