Well, if you load or create a plane in CC (I mean a 'Plane' primitive) then you can right click on its entry in the DB tree and use 'Align camera' to make the 3D camera look towards its normal vector. And you use the other 'Align camera (reverse)' option to look in the opposite direction.

Use the 'Display > Adjust zoom' tool (with the right 'pixel size'). See http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... djust_zoom

Then it means that the resolution of the screen itself is too low.

To overcome this, you can input a bigger pixel size (e.g. 10 or 20 mm) and use the 'zoom' option of the 'Display > renter to file' tool to render an image twice or four times bigger (so that in the end you get your 5 mm / pixel).

Ok that means if i put 10mm on pixel size and in render file i put zoom 2 it will take 5mm ?

The units are actually the same as your cloud (what we call 'implicit units').

And to answer your previous question: if you apply a zoom of 2 when rendering, you'll get twice as pixels with the same viewport, therefore the pixel size will indeed be divided by 2.
