Is there a way of installing CloudCompare without using Snap, on Ubuntu 18.04?
I am using a work laptop running Ubuntu, and I am forced to have my account's home dir to be located not directly under the /home folder.
This is a know issue for Snap, it expects that one's home dir is located at /home/$USER, otherwise the software installed by snap will not work.
I have spent many hours searching/working through various possible solutions, but I have yet to find any that work.
Is there anyway to use CC without installing it via Snap?
