Hi Dimitri,
Thanks for feedback. I hope a next version will solve this really boring annoying issue.
Best,

Noise reduction in point cloud
Hi all,
Since CC has a function to compute density, could we imagine a noise reduction function of the point cloud. It would then offer a better with EDL by deleting lonely points.
Is it already possible using a tric or will it require a new functionnality?
Thanks in advance.

[FIXED] Large coordinates does not display properly
Hi all, When you are a surveyor, as I am, you need to always work in real coordinates, i.e. in the national datum. So you are always working with large coordinates. Almost every software can not display point clouds with such coordinates. In cloudcompare, you also have kind of "strips" in ...
Re: Plugins
I was in a conference two weeks ago where photogrammetrists made a paper for the calibration of the kinect. As soon I have the proceedings I will send you the article if you want to have a look.
I know that Microsoft will release official SDK and drivers, results will certainly be better.

Re: CloudCompare standalone viewer
For my use, that would be a fantastic tool if you just add 2 small tools:
-a tool for simply computing distances
-the possibility to display in EDL.
Many people that don't use to work on 3D would then be able to simply measure and visualise.
Thanks anyway.

Re: Plugins
It's in the 2.2 version thats is still available as old stable one. You maybe forgot to remove it but well, that's great! I just install drivers and press on this "strange" button qKinect and Talaaa: point cloud. I just reverse the axis for the sensor to get a depth map. in fact with have ...

Quick result for qKinect test. It works on my Windows 7 64 bits with the OpenKinect-libfreenect-4a159f8 drivers. http://s1.postimage.org/6ossakn31/q_Kinect_Avec_Depth_Map.png http://s1.postimage.org/a8eq0dppr/q_Kinect_Avec_Depth_Map.jpg Thanks Daniel for this. Re: Bubble view, or View Based Station
Hello Daniel, it works quite well, thanks a lot. The problem is that when you want to do a segmentation for example, the camera comes back automatically to a centered perspective, but it's maybe another stuff to segment with this viewer based perspective.... Anyway, thanks for adding this functionna...
