Indoor point cloud classification

Is it possible to use the CANUPO or 3DMASС plugins to classify a point cloud inside a building — such as walls, columns, beams, slabs, ceilings, pipes, ducts, conduits, etc.?

I would say 3Dmasc has more chances of being able to do it, considering it's very adaptable and customizable. But this will require some tinkering and embracing its complexity! There's definitely some options by mixing different concepts such as the planarity / curvature / etc.
