Custom lighting

Post by kachlica »

Having switched off sun light and and having changed the model to ortographic projection still cannot see point light source to work with. In tutorial it is written "sometimes the star may have position within the object itslef". I see the model lighted from downside and when doing pan movement the ligting is slightly changing but i cannot identify this "star picture" of the source lighting point.

Then maybe the light is very far below the object? Have you tried to zoom out a lot?

Otherwise if the light source was inside the object, you would just have to hide the object to see it...

Indeed. Do you know you can move it? (with CTRL key pressed and the right mouse button pressed)
